DRIVING SKILLS OF DRIVERS IN ENSURING ROAD SAFETY

Abstract

The traffic intensity on the country's highways is increasing day by day. Therefore, it is no secret that there are many systemic problems awaiting resolution in the field of road safety. In recent years, issues of ensuring road safety and fundamentally improving its organizational and legal foundations have become one of the most pressing issues concerning our citizens, authorized state bodies, representatives of the general public, and our society as a whole. In this direction, issues of ensuring the safety of road users, their rights and legitimate interests, reducing the number of road traffic accidents, fundamentally reforming the system of driver training and issuing driver's licenses to citizens, further increasing the responsibility of authorized state bodies in this area, creating a legal framework for innovations in the field, and eliminating legal gaps are among the problems awaiting immediate resolution. In the article, the authors focus on the role of driver qualifications in ensuring road safety, the development of innovative methods for driver training and professional development, and the evaluation of developed methods.
