В статье рассматривается эволюция архитектурных и градостроительных принципов, формировавших университетские кампусы с момента их зарождения в Средневековье до современного этапа развития. Анализируются ключевые этапы становления кампусной архитектуры, ее связь с социально-культурными и технологическими изменениями, а также современные тенденции формирования учебной среды.
