Abstract

A healthy lifestyle is a key factor in preventing chronic diseases and improving quality of life. However, many individuals fail to maintain healthy habits due to insufficient understanding of how the human body functions. Anatomical knowledge may play an important role in improving health awareness and encouraging preventive behavior. This study used a qualitative literature review approach to analyze the relationship between anatomical knowledge and healthy lifestyle formation. The findings show that understanding the cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory, and musculoskeletal systems significantly influences individuals’ health decisions, encouraging better nutrition, regular physical activity, and avoidance of harmful habits such as smoking. The study concludes that anatomical literacy is an important factor in promoting a healthy lifestyle, although it should be supported by broader social and educational interventions
