Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of sentencing for the crime of intentional destruction of or damage to property. It analyzes the legal basis for imposing criminal punishment, the principles of individualized sentencing, the role of mitigating and aggravating circumstances, and the challenges encountered in judicial practice. Based on national legislation and court practice, the study formulates scientific conclusions and proposes recommendations aimed at improving sentencing practices for this category of crimes.
