Abstract

This article comprehensively examines the importance, main directions and practical possibilities of developing green transport infrastructure. Based on modern environmental requirements, the author analyzes the importance of charging stations for electric vehicles, bicycle and pedestrian paths, ecological models of public transport, as well as digitalization in the transport sector. The article shows the environmental, economic and social advantages of green transport and highlights promising areas for the development of this sector in Uzbekistan. The results of the study substantiate that the sustainable development of green transport infrastructure serves to increase the efficiency of the national economy and ensure environmental sustainability.
